OUR NEW ADVICE COLUMN!
Answered by yours truly:

Q: What do you do instead of Tutorial?
A: Instead of Tutorial, you can have Spanish. In high school, you can fill out an overload form, and choose an elective.

Q: Are there any specific activities beside band and intramurals?
A: Well, there’s the newspaper club *winkity-wink-wink,* and there is…. Here we go…
orchestra, cooking club, drama club, art club, homework club, yearbook, Girls on the Run, cross-country, basketball, volleyball, coding club, fishing club, cheerleading . . . just look at the wall in the cafeteria.

Q: What types of assignments are we going to do?
A: I am but a humble newspaper employee . . . not a teacher.

Q: Why doesn’t everyone worship the perfect goddess I am? (I’m wonderful)
A: Calm down there honey – if people don’t worship you, no big deal, they don’t adore me either, but you don’t see me writing about it.

Q: Why am I obsessed with Instagram?
A: Because it is great, duh!

Q: Why does Chippewa have nothing but drama?
A: I don’t know, but I consulted Carolinne, Juanita, and got their answers. “Kids act like the teachers are their parents and they have to argue with them just to get a good grade.” That’s what Carolinne said. Juanita said, “I think everyone is just trying to get into the right group, and it’s hard, but it causes drama.” And this is what I say: People, understand . . . if you were just nice to people, it would be so much easier. Don’t gossip or spread rumors or get mad just for no reason. And I am guilty of ranting to my friends, and not talking to the person, and I am trying to fix it.

Q: Why is there no straight/gay alliance?
A: I do not know, and that is not mine to answer.

Q: When will people stop bullying?
A: I wish I knew. I wish I knew. But, if everyone stands up to a bully, or stands down and doesn’t fist fight, then the world, and this school, would definitely be a better place.

Q: Yes or no?
A: Yes, because I’m a “glass half-full” kinda gal.

Q: Hi.
A: Hi.

Q: When are you making a paper version of the newspaper?
A: I don’t know . . . to be announced?

Q: How do I stop procrastinating?
A: Honestly, I would tell you but I don’t know how to myself.

Q:Any advice in general for us 8th graders?
A: Yes! Stay in school, listen to your parents, listen to your teachers, listen to your siblings (if you have any), be nice, be enthusiastic, and stay out of trouble.

Q:Are we getting an end of the year dance?
A:Yes! We are! Even though it has been on and off, don’t worry – we will 8th graders!

Q:What should I wear to the dance?
A: Wellllllll… don’t wear these…

Q: Why do I have a lot of of pencils missing?
A: I don’t know, but maybe you should ask a friend, or go to the Dollar store/Walgreens/Walmart/Target, and get some more.

Hope you have enjoyed my expertise and if you have any questions that you simply MUST get my opinion on, write it down and put it in the box in the lunchroom.
Until next time people –
